The Cafeteria is located on the basement level of the hospital and is open to all visitors during the following mealtimes:

Visitors may also visit the Coffee Café, located on the first floor of the main hospital building. It features Seattle’s Best coffees, hot and cold sandwiches, breakfast items, milk shakes, soups, desserts and daily meal specials.

The Gift Shop is located on the first floor of the hospital. The City Hospital Auxiliary staffs the Gift Shop and donates its proceeds to the hospital for facility improvements and new equipment.
The Gift Shop stocks cards, small toys, snacks, balloons, books, magazines, newspapers, gift items and sundries such as toothbrushes, tissues, etc.
The Coffee Café features a selection of teas and coffees, hot and cold sandwiches, breakfast items, milk shakes, soups, desserts and daily meal specials.

Any personal mail received after discharge from ELCH will be forwarded to the patient’s home.
Balloons
Only mylar balloons are permitted in the hospital. Latex balloons are prohibited.
Flowers
Flowers are welcome on any unit except the Intensive/Critical Care Unit (ICCU). Patients in the ICCU can have flowers once they have been transferred from the unit and to another room.
Parking
The hospital offers FREE valet parking for all visitors and patients. Parking attendants are stationed at the main entrance on Fifth Street. Guests simply pull up to the entrance and give the keys to an attendant who parks the vehicles. When leaving , an attendant will retrieve your vehicle. This service is free and there is no tipping. The parking service is available each weekday at the following times:
Main Entrance: 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
When visitors are here beyond the times of service, keys will be left with a Security personnel member and the vehicles will be moved to a parking lot near the door.
Outpatient and disability parking also are available in front of the hospital. Visitors and patients may park in designated parking lots within a block of the hospital on West Fifth Street (directly across from the hospital and directly across from the school). Visitors are not to park in the lot near the Emergency Room.
Smoking/Tobacco Prohibitions
East Liverpool City Hospital is a total smoke-free facility. Employees, medical staff members, patients and visitors are not allowed – under any circumstances – to smoke or use tobacco products inside any part of the hospital, the adjoining Metsch-Harker Building or The Therapy Center. Smoking is only permitted at the outdoor picnic tables at the east and west ends of the hospital campus.
It is prohibited, by law, to light up and/or smoke as you leave the building, as you enter the building or while stopping along the way to or from the picnic tables. Therefore, smoking is prohibited in parking lots, walkways and on all hospital property.
Directions
The hospital is located in downtown East Liverpool, adjacent to U.S. Route 30 and Ohio Routes 7, 39 and 11, and near two bridges crossing the Ohio River to Newell and Chester, W.Va. It is half an hour from the new Pittsburgh International Airport, and within one hour of downtown Pittsburgh, Wheeling, Youngstown and Canton.
