2015 Singspiration to be Held

10-28-2015

Help the Pastoral Care Department continue to improve the mental, physical and spiritual well-being of the patients at East Liverpool City Hospital by supporting them during their annual fundraiser. The 2014 Singspiration is being held at the East Liverpool First Church of Nazarene at 6:00 On Sunday November 1st. Join us for an evening of music that warms the soul and brings joy to your heart, with musical numbers from church choirs, soloists and bell choirs. The Pastoral Care Department is staffed by a Pastoral Care Coordinator, a part time secretary and number of volunteers that visit patients in the hospital to provide a source of comfort to them. You will find these caring people in your family member’s hospital room; talking, listening and praying with them during a vulnerable moment in their lives.

Besides being there to visit the patients, the Pastoral Care staff provides materials to help pass the time; by offering newspapers, books, magazines, activity books and reading glasses. They are also available to help the hospital staff during a time of crisis. Please help to support the mission of the Pastoral Care Team by attending and making a donation at the Singspiration or by writing a check out to the Tri-State Chaplaincy Committee and sending it to East Liverpool City Hospital 425 W. Fifth Street, East Liverpool, Ohio 43920 to the attention of the Pastoral Care Office. ELCH supports the Pastoral Care group in many ways, but the cost of comfort items are made possible through donations. The Pastoral Care team relies on donations from individuals, churches and businesses to provide for materials for patients in the hospital and the costs of its program. The Tri-State Chaplaincy Committee that sponsors this event thanks you in advance for helping to make a difference in the lives of the patients and families seeking treatment at East Liverpool City Hospital.
