Prime Healthcare Foundation Completes Acquisition of River Valley Health Partners

(East Liverpool, OH -- February 1, 2016) – Prime Healthcare Foundation and River Valley Health Partners (RVHP) announced today that Prime Healthcare has completed its acquisition of River Valley Health Partners, which includes East Liverpool City Hospital in East Liverpool, OH, River Valley Physicians, LLC, and Ohio Valley Home Health Services, Inc. The entities will retain their not-for-profit status as members of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, an affiliate of Prime Healthcare Services.

The Prime Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)3 public charity dedicated to improving access to healthcare and increasing educational opportunities in healthcare, has donated millions of dollars to support free community clinics, nonprofit organizations, scholarships and academic programs in healthcare.

East Liverpool City Hospital is a 152-bed acute care hospital and was recently recognized as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission, while River Valley Physicians, LLC comprises eight primary care and specialty offices.
