 Dr. John C. Green, a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and American Society of Breast Surgeons, recently attended the 10th International Conclave for Breast Surgery in Las Vegas.
During the meeting, he updated his skills as an oncoplastic surgeon by participating in the fourth conference in Breast Oncoplastic Surgery. This surgery allows the patient to have immediate reconstruction following a breast surgical lumpectomy or mastectomy, and symmetrical reconstruction of the opposite breast.
Green also participated in discussions about treatments for complex breast disease cases, and the latest minimal invasive biopsy techniques, recommended as the “standard of care.” He now offers these services at his office and at East Liverpool City Hospital, where he is a member of the surgical medical staff.
