Visitation During Labor and Delivery (LDRP Rooms)
The husband or other labor assistant is allowed to stay with the mother-to-be throughout labor and delivery. However, the delivering physician and nursing staff have the right to require the labor assistant and other support persons to leave at any time. The number of support persons in the room during labor and delivery is the decision of the patient, with the consent of the medical and nursing staff.
